The test was conducted with 50 tags on the master pc.
-
It takes an average of 2 minutes and 20 seconds to switch from master pc to backup pc.
-
Please let me know if there is a way to speed up the transition time.
That is astonishingly slow. I have customers with redundant systems with tens of thousands of tags that transition in single digit seconds (after the configurable detection time--typically ten seconds).
Oh, wait, you tagged this for Perspective. /:
Yes, we're testing with perspective right now.
Is it fast if I do it with vision instead of perspective?
This might be something better handled via support.
Either way, you aren't explaining how you're inducing failure/failover and what it is you're actually measuring in terms of how long it takes.
Yes, what I described above was Vision.
Then is there any way to speed up on perspiration?
Well....
Then is there any way to speed up on perspiration?
I haven't used Perspective with redundancy. Sorry. Someone else will have to chime in.
What do you mean?
Does that mean there's no way?
Does that mean there's no way?
He (Phil) means that he hasn't used Perspective / Perspiration™ with redundancy so he doesn't know.
But you haven't answered Kevin's questions
