I was going through the Sparkplug documentation to check if there is a way to make a tag ready only. I was not able to find any such configuration, although it does say there might be some tags like Device Hardware Version etc that are ready only. Is there any way to stop ignition from sending write commands for specific tags by device side configuration(Sparkplug B Payload) ?
I was able to do this by only sending writable tags as part of the birth certificate earlier, but the behavior of the MQTT engine has been changed in the new version and where it requires all tags to be sent as part of the birth certificate.
