The tag is a real float in studio 5000 but when I drag it in in the Ignition tag browser it shows it is an integer. I have tried reimporting, starting the project again etc. What causes this? I can’t really delete the tag and recreate it in studio 5000 in a way that is not impactful.
The most common reason for the types to be mismatched is that it was a DINT or whatever in the PLC at the time Ignition’s driver browsed and has since changed. Assuming this is the case, It’s a bit annoying but you have to restart the UA module to start seeing the new type.
