I have a Transaction Group set up for local/global tags for a recipe select pretty much step for step as seen on the youtube video for loading recipes

The problem is that if client 1 changes the Recipe then client 2’s data changes but still has a different recipe number selected in the dropdown. The operator at client two can now accidently update the recipe with what he thinks is the “correct recipe” according to the screen. This is unacceptable.
I tried using client tags with the transaction group but they can not communicate, and according to the post " cannot write to client tags in transaction groups" below it is impossible.

how would you recommend solving this problem on Ignition Platform
7.5.11? Upgrading ignition is not realistic due to the project’s size and completion date.
