Red Lion Datastation Modubus TCP Conectivity

Hey Guys,

Wondering if anybody has connected Ignition to a Red Lion Datastation via Modbus TCP successfully before?

Using a Modbus TCP driver I get Ignition cycling between “Connected” and “Disconnected”

Red Lion Network Protocol set to Modbus TCP/IP slave

No Doubt I am missing some settings somewhere??

Have you defined any tags yet? Cycling between connected and disconnected usually happens when the device closes the connection due to inactivity.

Apparently the tags I had Mapped in Ignition were not correctly lining up with the tag mapping through the Datastation to the PLC.
