Hi, I encountered an issue where my data was duplicated when connection between the master gateway and the redundancy gateway lost, even though both gateways were still up. Could this issue be related to the redundancy setting being in history mode, where the current setting is full. Should I change it to partial instead?
Don't let that happen without also breaking device and database connections. What you experienced is called "split-brain", and can only be prevented by ensuring that master-backup connectivity runs over the same network as connections to devices and databases.
Thanks for the reply. Currently all the connectivity runs over the same network except database. If I change the history mode to partial will the same things happen? I also not sure what cause the connectivity between the master-backup to down because the connectivity under the same switch.
