Is there a way to read sync status of a redundant gateway? Recently we had an event were a primary gateway failed and therefore the redundant gateway failedover to be primary, however, the redundant gateway had not successfully syncd for several months and therefore several graphics and tags did not have recent modification applied to them. If this status was available in the system tag browser then at minimum an alert could be fired when sync is outdated to let an operator know so they could force a sync or reboot of the redundant gateway.
Unfortunately, there is no system tag specifically for the redundancy sync status. We are in the midst of going through all our systems and looking for ways that people can self-diagnose their own systems. I can add items like a redundancy sync status tag to the list of items we want to update.
I've recently just configured Zabbix to pull from the ignition API to monitor various stat's including active and sync status for our redundant pairs. Obviously this requires 8.3.
Current this is just used to display on a grafana dashboard to be passively monitored in our office but once rationalised I'll setup email notifications
