Just wondering what is the ETA on the release candidate/final release?
I think a “release candidate” will happen on February 5th.
February 5th marked opening up the public beta. A release candidate will be available…when the software is at a point we feel comfortable calling it a release candidate, as in, “unless something tremendously broken is found, this will be 8.0.0”. We’re definitely not at that point yet, but we’re definitely working on it.
Current estimate for final release is “sometime in April”.
