Remoting into pcs for TVs for Ignition

Is there a nice software to manage the pcs we remote to for our pages we display on TVs across sites, or is regular remote desktop the best way still?

Also, I saw Intel compute sticks from 9 years ago just now for like $100.
Is there a newer and more portable option that is even cheaper now for browsing Ignition pages?

The problem with remote desktop now is that it doesn't share the desktop screen that's actively being displayed on the PC (the console session), but instead displays a separate session. For a local network the old-school way that still works is VNC, but is usually fairly insecure due to the 8 character limit for passwords. I've started using RustDesk which is basically a TeamViewer alternative that's open source, but also allows direct IP address connections. So in this way, I can keep the network isolated so it doesn't connect in and allow using an ID (you can run your own relay server for keeping your systems off of the public relay if you want). Then you set up whatever passwords you want on them and you can access the desktop console session, transfer files, etc.

Thanks, I will check out RustDesk.

I found a spreadsheet on reddit and a youtube video to explain many mini pcs.

The author color coded the ram by function.
I would like to know if someone found something that works well for them.
