Removing Outer Border on Embedded View

I’m trying to remove the outer border on an embedded view. I’ve already set borderStyle to hidden and none, but it doesn’t seem to work. Could you advise on the correct way to remove it?

I assume the border in question is on the view that is embedded, and not on the embedded view component itself.
