We have folders in a tree view setup to be able to browse for a tag then see details on it. If we needed to rename one of the top level folders would the device history be lost for tags within that renamed folder? We have most tags built up already but we are finding we may need to go back and rename/organize our folder structure for tags…
The data doesn’t get lost when you rename the folder or tag name. It is just that you won’t be able to see the old data and the new data in the same graph since the tag paths are different. You can always still view the old data using the old tag path.
