I have a UDT called Station that had a parameter called Instance. I created instances of the UDT, then I wanted to rename the parameter from Instance to Address. When I did so, the instances retain the prior parameter Instance and add the new parameter Address. Therefore, the UDT itself has only 1 parameter but the instances have 2. Is this expected? Is there an easy way to remove the old Instance parameter?
Pretty sure this is expected. You can fairly easily remove the extra by exporting the tags and using a smarter notepad eg notepad++ to remove each instance.
