Report Designer freezes after upgrading to 7.8.1-rc1

Hi all.
I’ve updated my 7.8.0 installation in order to fix the report watermark on saving.
But now, I’m not able to open the report designer: the “Loading…” message shows forever. Downgrading again to 7.8.0 everything is work fine (except for the watermark, of course).
I’ve tried clearing java cache, updating java to the last release (8-66)… but same error.

Can you contact support about this? I haven’t experienced this here, and it’s going to be really hard to diagnose in the forum.
