So I’ve got a report mostly made of Simple Tables. In Design view, everything lines up, I have some smaller cells for certain data points and to conserve space.
But when I go to preview this, the row heights go back to the default values and everything starts overlapping.
Any ideas?
It seems I can only increase the size of the Simple Table defaults, not sure why shrinking the tables does not work. Did you ever find a solution?
Each cell inside a simple table has an ‘Overflow Behavior’ property. By default it’s set to ‘Grow row’, to fit the contents + the padding specified.
If you want your sizing in the design tab to be preserved, switch to ‘Shrink text’ mode.
