Reports Locking Up

Hello, I have reports that use a sliding date range. Every time I open up the window, the report shows “generating Report” at the bottom, for ever, and I cant do a thing after that. Has anyone ever had this issue? I can give more details if you need it.

why does date range sometime revert to a date of 1970, anyone have this issue???

the report uses an SQL query, polling mode is relative

That's your problem. The arrival of new data triggers re-execution of the report, which apparently takes longer than the interval for the binding.

thanks, is there a way to make binding interval longer, or is that static?

That's the polling mode. I wouldn't poll at all for something fed to a report.
