Restore Challenge Gateway Backup

Hi everybody,

i’d like to know how can i restore de Challenge Gateway Backup? Because the Challenge Gateway Backup file (.gwbk) or (.proj) doesn’t have in the folder.

I’m assuming you’re asking how you load the Challenge Gateway Backup onto your own server. On your Ignition Gateway go to Configure / System / Backup/Restore.

MAKE SURE YOU CREATE A BACKUP FIRST, AS RESTORING A GATEWAY BACKUP WILL OVERWRITE ANYTHING ALREADY ON YOUR GATEWAY.

You can then select the Restore tab and choose the Challenge Gateway Backup .gwbk file before pressing the Restore button.

Ok, but this file doesn’t exist in the folder at “https://inductiveuniversity.com > UniversityChallengeBackup_v7_7”

To take one of the certification tests you have to complete all the relevant courses on Inductive University and then apply through your Inductive Automation sales rep. They will then send you an email containing a link which allows you to download a zip file. This file contains the necessary gateway backup.
