I have a remote install where it looks as if the Ignition service has corrupted and requires a re-install.
I have not been online with this application for years, therefore, i do not have a most recent gateway backup. Can i copy the entire folder and backup somewhere while i do the ignition re-install?
My fear is in case something goes wrong with the Ignition Install and i corrupt the existing gateway folder.
Yep, copy it to some other folder. If memory serves, though, the relevant folder is {Install Dir}\contexts\main\db that would hold config.idb and internal autobackups.
