If you restore a gateway backup that has config for modules that aren’t installed, I presume that the config is restored but can’t be used until the modules are installed. I just wanted to check that this is the case, and that config isn’t removed?
That should be the case.
Note also that if missing modules had provided components used in templates or windows, those will fail to open.
