SAXParseException while uploading a project

I am getting SAXParseException while uploading the project in v7.9.14. I have Java 8 update 271 (64-bit) on my PC.

There are 2 error entries in logs - Error parsing project file from project upload. and Error parsing project file. Both of them have below details:

org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file.

I tried reinstalling Ignition and Java, as well as clearing cache. But still getting the same error.
Please help.

Taken at face value the error suggests your project file is incomplete, but it could be that there’s something going wrong during the upload or maybe something else entirely.

Can you upload the project file somewhere for us to take a look? If it’s private you can open a ticket with support and attach the project file you’re trying to upload.

@Kevin.Herron Thank you for you prompt reply.

It is shared by client as a copy of their existing project developed by another vendor. I will ask them for a fresh copy again incase current file is corrupted (if was part of a .zip file) and also check if I can share it, if problem persists.
