Has anyone managed to get communication working with Ignition to Schneider Machine Expert?
I am trying to simulate an M262 in the Schneider software, but cant seem to get the Modbus TCP device to communicate.
Schneider Simulation on Machine Expert doesn't seem to use an IP address like Control Expert.
Are you sure this is possible? I'm not familiary with Schneider's software, but most of the simulation technologies I've used do not permit the external connections that a real PLC permit. Just the curated connections within the simulation.
Im not certain on Machine Expert, but when I utilised Schneider's Control Expert it was possible. Control Expert simulates to the local host and you make your connection to the local host. But if it isnt possible, it may mean getting the physical CPU and testing that way.
