Search function on perspective dashboard page

To make a search function work, like the search on the website Android Police for example, I make a table of all my pages with a link column, and a column with descriptions that can be searched?

Then I use prepupdate to run the query from the text they search for?

Or how do I handle when they put in more than one word?

Are there easy ways to get all the views into a list easily?

ChatGPT said that most sites use a search engine that indexes the pages.

you could use google and inject it into you perspective i guess... but those come with a price (or ads)

this also means your website will have to be public for the search engine to look in it... probably not a good idea for most igniton/busniess cases

it will be safer to just make a searchable dropdown and add in your own stuff

What do you want to be searchable ?

I am working on my megamenu now.

I don't think the search feature is best.
I don't have something I want searchable.
I have pages I want people to find easily.

Almost like a site map? You want people to be able to navigate your perspective project via this search bar?

I am not looking into a search feature anymore.

I should improve my megamenu instead I think.

Thanks for helping me.
