I am wondering if there is a way to search for a tag on the OPC UA Server. I cannot find it.

Can you clarify what you’re trying to do? You provided a screenshot of the Ignition Tag Browser, which isn’t a representation of the OPC servers you have connections to or the tags that might reside on them.
Are you trying to find all existing Ignition tags from a certain server or something like that?

A little history, I am creating a replacement program within perspective and when I reference the old program I see where they were writing to the PLC using an IPC message.
This is on our OPC UA Server but there are many of these tags. I was wanting to know how do I search them. I believe the one I was looking for was not there, so that answer my question.
New question, how would I create this tag I was searching for in the OPC UA Server in order to write to the PLC?
Let me clarify one thing. I can create the tag but the OPC path does not exist.
If you don’t know the correct OPC Item Path, or if that tag even exists in the PLC, I think maybe what you want to do is create a tag by browsing for it on the OPC server / devices: Creating Tags - Ignition User Manual 8.1 - Ignition Documentation
