My client asked this question today: “Do we have evidence of our code base and check in/check out logs in 2020? We will need the evidence for some paperwork related to R&D.”

I have never needed to go look for proof of past work done in the Ignition codebase, is that even possible? They don’t have a source control system. We use Transaction Groups and Perspective, mostly.

The R&D thing is for a tax credit. I’ve never had to supply proof, although to be fair, we’re an end user.

It may not help for this time around, but-- as of 8.0.9, I think-- enabling auditing in the project and in the gateway can let you see changes in the projects
