I am a graduating senior at Tenn. State University in their Advanced Industrial Technologies, Mechatronics Concentration and would like to share my presentation with the community.
Special shoutout to Joe Valdeez(sp?). His presentation on one of the 'Maker Edition Showcase' video hosted on the Ignition YouTube page really jumpstarted this idea.
I'm a 12 year industrial maintenance and controls professional and have been in school to attain my bachelors in automation engineering for the last ~6 years. Working full time and being a student has been a lengthy and tough trek - but I did it!
Attached is my presentation where I utilized YoloV8 on an NVIDIA Jetson Orin board to build a very rudimentary 'dashboard' for my detection data and to host the model/video through Flask and HTTP.
