SEPASOFT, DATABASE pruning method/ Strategies

Hello,
I am new to SEPASOFT modules and their working. Can anyone shed some information on how is Database pruning is possible as the database tables seems like a blackbox. Also I have tried separating the ‘Runtime Database’ and ‘Analysis Database’ in 2 different Schemas but I have found all the tables are getting built on the ‘Analysis Database’ schema and the Production Schema is empty. Is there any way to Backup the historical production data (i.e. the Response Segments) without disturbing the equipment, materials, process segments, operation segments in the database.
