Hi there, I am using velocio plcs for an rnd project. I am at the limit of what I can do in the velocio ide and would like to use the ignition platform to improve data capture and display but I can’t work out if I can use ignition to communicate with my plc using modbus via usb connection? Is it possible?

Not directly via USB, no.
If when attached by USB it appears as a serial port on the PC and the device supports Modbus RTU you might be able to get that working.
You need the Ignition Serial Support Module installed in order for Modbus RTU to show up as an option.
