SFC stuck in "Cancelling" State

Good morning
I have an SFC with two running instances stuck in “Cancelling” State
Has anyone experienced this issue?

I stopped the gateway as a final resort hoping this would kill the SFC
However, on restart of the gateway process, the two instances are now in “Starting” state.

Hitting Cancel in the Designer has resulted in them to returning to Cancelling state.

Does anyone know how I can kill these things?

What version? AFAIK, any issues with cancelling SFCs have been fixed since 7.9.3.
