Siemens Enhanced Driver Missing/Failing Installation in Docker Image 8.3.1

I'm running Ignition 8.3.1 in a Docker container on my Windows laptop.

I wanted to test the new Siemens Enhanced Driver, but I've encountered two issues:

  1. The driver is not listed in the available drivers in the Gateway Configuration (Devices > Connections > Create Device Connection +). This suggests it's missing from the default container image.

  2. When I try to manually install the .modl file for the Enhanced Driver, the installation fails immediately with the generic message "Error installing module"

Has anyone else experienced this, or is the Enhanced Driver not officially part of the standard 8.3.1 Docker image yet?

Thank you!

After the failure to install, is there anything in the gateway logs or logfile?

You should be able to use the Siemens Enhanced Driver with the Docker image. We regularly test with docker. Do you have any logs? Any faulted modules? Have you made any changes to the docker image?

Edit: Just pulled the inductiveautomation/ignition:8.3.1 image on my windows machine, started the container, commissioned the gateway, and the Siemens Enhanced Driver connection is available in the list:
