Is the Siemens Enhanced Driver available for the Maker Edition? I tried installing it today, but it is Faulted. If I click on the "Faulted" status, I'm getting a message stating that it is "Not eligible for use with Ignition Maker Edition". But I have read other reports that it is eligible, and that there might be a C++ redistributable issue. I tried installing the ones that were recommended, but still got this same behavior. If I go to Device Connections, the driver shows up as follows: ¿siemens.SiemensDeviceType.Name? Enabled shows true, but status is unknown. I do have the regular S7-1200 driver working, but I'd much rather have symbolic addressing if possible. Also read some reports saying that Maker comes natively with Siemens Symbolic driver, which does not show up on my installation. Any ideas?
It's not available for Maker. It uses a 3rd party native library that isn't free for us / isn't licensed such that we can give the module away for free.
