Siemens PCS7 connectivity to Ignition

Good day everyone,

We intend to attempt a connection between Ignition and the Siemens PCS7 platform, which ordinarily has a built in OPC server. Has anybody successfully done this? any tips are appreciated.

Depending on the version of PCS7, you can set up a opc-ua client connection to the Ignition OPC-UA server.

Hi There -

I am currently trying to connect a PCS7 server using OPC-UA or OPC-COM. I haven’t gotten either to work yet. Did you have any luck with it?
