Siemens symbolic tags only appear in OPC Browser after disabling/enabling PLC in Gateway

When I create a new BOOL tag (bool2) in TIA Portal and perform a full download to the PLC, everything works correctly on the Siemens side. I can go online and monitor the tag without any issues. After that, I go to Ignition and refresh the OPC Browser, but the new symbolic BOOL tag does not appear.

However, if I go into the Gateway and disable the PLC device and then enable it again, the tag immediately shows up in the OPC Browser.

What version are you on? There should also be a button to rebrowse / refresh symbols in that menu.

Unfortunately that is necessary - there is no way to be notified that new symbols have been added.
