SimpleTagProvider configuration

I’m following the SDK example for a simple tag provider. It’s very accurate and useful. But I have still a couple of questions:

  1. Is there the possibility to create a sort of tag provider configuration page that the user will fill up after installing the module, so that the module runs with some startup parameters, e.g. baudrate, port number and so on?
  2. If I click on the example tag provider in the designer tag browser I see “add tags” greyed out. Is it possible for a SimpleTagProvider derived provider to let the user add tags in the designer and how?
