SLC OPC Connection Path Through Two ControlLogix Chassis

Ignition 8.1.31

I'm trying to configure an SLC 5/04 OPC-UA device driver. It routes through two ControlLogix chassis. The SLC(5/04) itself is connected to a DH+ network which connects back to one of the ControlLogix chassis via a 1756-DHRIO. This same chassis has a 1756-ENBT. The other ControlLogix chassis has a 1756-ENBT and a 1756-EN2T. I can connect to both ControlLogix PLC's directly with the Logix driver, and I can connect to the SLC via the ControlLogix PLC in the chassis with the DHRIO module, but I cannot seem to route through both of the ControlLogix chassis to reach the SLC.

I'm not having much luck in finding out what (if any) "extra" configuration is required on the DHRIO or ENBT/EN2T modules to make this work.

Path I'm trying to build:
172.16.4.25/22 - 1756-EN2T Chassis1:SLOT 2
10.84.50.25/24 - 1756-ENBT() Chassis1:SLOT 1
10.84.50.154/24 - 1756-ENBT() Chassis2:SLOT 9
1756-DHRIO Chassis2:SLOT 8:Channel A
DH+ Node 11 - SLC 5/04

What isn't working:

What Does Work: Single hop through ControlLogix Chassis to SLC

Also Working: Single hop to a Logix PLC via another ControlLogix Chassis

Log:

Unfortunately I think that our older AB SLC/MLX/PLC5 drivers are unable to route through multiple controllers. There's an old ticket about it in our issue tracker dating back to 7.9, and its probably applicable to all versions, ever.

On that note, I'm glad it's Friday :rofl:

I wish the ticket had more details because I can't really figure out why it doesn't work, or why you seem to have one example with an IP address in the path that does work and one that doesn't.

I wasn't very clear on "what was working". Edited for some clarity. The first example was connecting to the SLC via one hop through the controllogix chassis. The second was just showing that i was able to connect to the controllogix chassis that contains the DHRIO module via another controllogix chassis.
