I have a gateway network connection over a WAN, with both sides having very fast and stable internet connections, but for some reason when I try and browse tags or get tag values over the remote provider, it takes 30-45 seconds to open a tag folder. The connection diagnostics between the two don’t show any obvious issues, with a ping ranging from 60ms to 120ms.
Any suggestions for diagnosing this?
When browsing the remote providers tags on the gateway, browsing through folders is very quick and snappy.
It seems to just be in the designer and perspective these are slow.
Any thoughts?
Found the issue, I had my scripts running on a 1 second timer which worked fine on a local network, but needed more time to complete.
