Im encountering issues with a Sierra Wireless Airlink LX40 modem. Its using a Verizon sim card, and has good connection. Its configured properly in the gateway.
I can easily use the "Pipeline test" in the Gateway I immediately get a call out, I've also created a default tag in my PLC as an "Alarm test" If I set set that bit high, my test alarm will trigger, I can see if on my Alarm status table, and my Alarm journal table. It will even trigger out to my SMS modem and I can receive a text.
The issue I am encountering is when I'm done using my these test alarms and try to call out any real alarms some will call out and others will not.
These alarms are all configured the exact same, see my photo below.
Basically in the PLC if this tag goes High that will trigger the alarm condition.
My alarm notification pipeline is as simple as possible, it starts and goes directly to a notification block. This block uses a direct roster type and a currently has 3 people on the roster. I also added consolidation.
I can also see my pipeline start / retire in the gateway but again only for the alarms that actually end up calling out.
The issue is some alarms call out and some do not. All alarms will can be seen in the status table / journal, but its seems nearly random for which ones call out and which don't. Last week there were 5 different alarms that successfully called out, yet they also missed 3-4 alarms. Ive double checked the configuration on those alarms that were missed and they are identical to the ones that were successful.
This is an older system still on version 8.1.48, awaiting to be updated to the newest version.
