Hi,

I have the "Ignition Vision Client Launcher" version 1.1.42.
Can I upgrade the Ignition server to version 8.1.44 and still open the projects using this version of Vision Client Launcher? Or I must upgrade the Vision to 1.1.44 to be able to do it?

Yes, you can upgrade these separately. The older Client Launcher should still be able to launch against a newer version of the Ignition Gateway.

It'll work, but the older launcher will notice that the target gateway has a newer version, and will nag you to upgrade your launcher.

It is best to use the newest Client Launcher available for all of your gateways.

It's because the Vision Launcher will be updated automatically at a later time, but now only the server will be updated. I just wanted to make sure it will work.
