Sort columns on filtered table dataset?

When using the Perspective table’s filter, clicking on column headers to sort by ascending/descending does not work. For example:

Default (and in ascending order):

When set to descending, it remains the same:

Is this a bug, or perhaps a missing feature at this time? If either, I just wanted to bring it to IA’s attention.

A workaround is to implement one’s own filter for tables, but I believe this is functionality that should be expected from the Table component (and, indeed, this left some of our clients scratching their heads).

Bump. We’re still running into this issue.

We’ve hit this too. Seems like a rather large bug? Anybody out there?

I submitted a ticket with support after encountering this issue and making this post. It’s a known issue and is supposedly in Inductive’s ticket queue, but apparently it hasn’t been fixed yet. Last response was on 8/6/2020.

Guess we just have to wait. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
