I was reading this article - Ignition Server Sizing and Architecture Guide | Inductive Automation
It was very helpful but it does not seem to delineate even mention Vision and Perspective until the very end when it's talking about a dedicated frontend server which this will not be having. So this part -
Is it safe to assume when it says 10 concurrent clients it is referring to perspective since Vision uses the resources of the computer it is running on when possible? Or is this for vision?
The new project will have 1 PLC attached to a ignition gateway, something like 500 tags on historian, and 10ish perspective clients. Based on the article that seems to suggest 16 Gigs of ram (I added more for the db) and 2 or maybe 4 cores. Certainly seems like enough at a glance but I just wanted to see how "concurrent clients" should be interpreted here and for opinions here on the hardware.
