Spinner date bug

I have a Spinner component set to Date mode, with the dateValue property bound to a date tag.
The first time I open the window that the spinner is on in a client, the spinner text displays “#,##0.##”.

After navigating to a different window and then back again, the spinner shows the correctly formatted date value as expected.

Should I submit a ticket for this or is there anything at my end I should check?
