I created a redundant pair of Gateway servers in order to test the redundancy feature. I now want to split the pair so that I can use the backup gateway for additional development. Is there a procedure for doing this. I couldn’t find anything in the documentation.

Just change the backup node back to independent. Redundancy settings don’t synchronize (by design), so once you do that the master will no longer ‘see’ the backup, and the backup will just start being an independent gateway, with exactly the same configuration as the master. You may want to isolate the backup from the network while doing this, since it’ll immediately start trying to store history, run transaction groups, etc, which may lead to conflicts with the ‘real’ master.
