Just installed Kepware and got it up and running with ignition, but my question is am I going to manually have to recreate all the tags in Kepware and edit the Designer projects since the tag paths have changed? I tried to atleast export the address .csv file and import it in to Kepware device but didn’t seem to work…any suggestions on moving everything to Kepware? We are using the kepware modbus because we were having issues with tags going red and saying not connected even though the device was connected.
There’s not really an easy migration path. You might be able to write a script or something that converts from the SQLTags CSV export format to whatever format Kepware expects, but we don’t have anything readily available.
You’ll probably need to just set the tags up again in Kepware.
