Style are great for graphic shapes or wathever you put on the window. Even for text. But the process need to create a driving property etc.
It would be great to have style/template for text avalaible for all the project (font, size and style) and of course bindable to a dataset.

Also - styles are stored as dataSets in the expert properties. You can copy and paste these between components.
and you can store project-wide styles in dataset client tags and bind to those.
