Subject: Assistance Required for Siemens PLC Connection to Ignition Server

Good Morning,

I’m experiencing an issue with connecting one of our Siemens PLCs to the Ignition server. Specifically, the Siemens CPU [315-2AG10-0AB0] connected to a CP 343-1 [6GK7343-1EX30-0XE0] is not establishing a connection when set up.

We are able to connect to the PLC over our industrial network and monitor/modify all program variables. However, we are unable to connect the PLC to Ignition for trending on Axiom/Historian.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Strictly speaking, the connection is the other way. Ignition will connect to the PLC. This would be the legacy driver, documented here:
