Swiping Up/Down on Time-Series Chart

Hi There,

We have a few time-series charts on one of our views and one of the things that I’ve noticed is when we are swiping up/down in order to scroll through the page - if our thumb happens to touch the time series chart (while we’re attempting to swipe in a direction) the page does not scroll at all.

Is there any way around this? Or is it just a bug we have to live with? It seems if our finger touches on any other component during the swiping action that it recognizes the swipe and scrolls up/down - but not with the time-series chart.

Hi @jaspinall, this behavior is by design. This chart consumes touch events in order to detect pinching/pulling gestures, which will trigger zoom changes on the chart. You’ll just want to avoid the chart when scrolling the page on a mobile device.
