We are trying to make a template that can reference different images based on the image path (in Image Management). How can we get images from the Symbol Factory into Image Management folders so that we can use them in an Image Control Component? We have tried dragging, copying, etc. and nothing seems to work.

In Ignition Designer, try Tools → Image Management:
Yes, we are already there, but we can’t find a way to get the Symbol Factory images out of Symbol Factory and into the Image Manager. Once we can get them into the Image Manager, we can then reference their Display Path in a component and use [them] in our templates.
The problem with what you want to do is that Symbol Factory images are .svg files. This is not a supported file extension for the Image Management Tool. The Image Management Tool only supports .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png.
