When I use the system.perspective.download() command in the ignition designer everything works fine; but when I launch a session and run the command the file explorer doesn’t show up for me to select where I want to save the file. Is there a bug or am I missing something? Why doesn’t the file explorer show up in the launched session?
What happens when you download a file is up to your environment + browser; it’s literally outside of Ignition’s control. What platform(s) are you launching sessions on?
Launching on Chrome from the “Launch Session” option in ignition, running on windows.
