I added a few columns to my table, one of which I applied a translation list to. When I am in preview mode or the runtime and try to edit the value in ANY column I have a translation list on, I get a simple edit box and the text translation disappears. If I enter a valid value and commit it, the matching text translation appears. If I add an invalid value it just shows the number. Before I added my new columns the ones that already had translation lists worked fine, but now they all do not provide a drop-down. Any suggestions?
Make sure the translation list is setup for the appropriate column. Secondly, open the Console in the designer to see if any errors occur. If you have an invalid character like & in your translation map nothing will show. The console will show a red error in that case. You may have to close and re-open the window to see that.
