Tag Change scripts within UDTs on Edge Gateway acting as RTP to main Gateway using Sync Services

Hello,

We have tags (UDTs and instances) that exist on an edge gateway, we are exposing the tag provider to our main gateway via Sync Services. Question is, I am almost certain those tag change events will not work on the edge node but will they execute on the main gateway that is accessing them via remote tag provider? I want to say the answer is no, but I wanted to check. If the answer is no, any ideas on a solution for this? Gateway scripts are not an option…

Gateway tag change events (project events, not tag events) might work in the main gateway. That's the only thing that comes to mind.
