Tag export special symbols bug?

When exporting tags from the designer in 8.3.3 "special" symbols and characters break.
For example: "engUnit: °C" turns into "engUnit: �C",
ø turns into ?

Tag export is pretty much unusable for me now.
I understand it might be bad practice to use ø in alarm pipeline names, but it used to work without issues.
°C is a perfectly standard engineering unit for temperature and should not break.

I assume this is a bug related to the recent 8.1 -> 8.3 upgrade.

Just had a look in the release notes and it seems to be a fix in the upcoming 8.3.5-rc1!

"Fixed an issue with special characters (non-ASCII Unicode characters) not exporting correctly in Tag exports."
