Tag History on change for Datetime ou String Tag type?

Hi,

I woulld like to store in History only the change of value for Datetime ou String Tag type
My sqlt_data_1_2012_XX quickly grows, and the tag seem to be stored periodicaly.

Value mode = Discrete ? or Analog ?
Historical deadband ???

Discrete should log on change. Are you getting records added even though the value hasn’t changed?

With a Historical deadband value at 0,01, it’s okb ut with 0 it seems that every scan is stored for datetime, string tag or others
